- I'm having a good hair day. Which is saying something as it's a rainy and humid-y type morning.
- I've started going to a boot camp in the local park. And now I can't move a single part of my body without being in pain. But last night after the game (GO CARDS!) I watched one of those "I Shouldn't Be Alive" shows where a guy fell off a cliff and survived, but he shattered his hip and had to army crawl across jagged rocks and sand for days, dragging his mostly disembodied right leg behind him in order to get to a populated area. So, now I'm thinking sore muscles maybe aren't that big of a deal, and I should just go ahead and stop whining.
- But it's fun working out in a park. After pushing my body to its almost limits, I looked up to see the moon rising over the tree tops. And it took my breath away. Well, what little breath I had left after doing 5,000,001 squat thrusts.
- Several people are out of the office today. It's quiet. Pandora radio is playing Mumford & Sons in the background, and I'm getting some work done.
- While cleaning/packing (did I mention I'm moving?) I found some old sheet music from college, and the songs have been stuck in my head all morning. Ahh, memories.
- So...I'm moving! Not far. Just a few miles down the road. I'm a little sad, and a little overwhelmed, but mostly hopeful and excited. I've loved my little apartment. But there are some financial goals I'd like to meet, and the new living situation will help me meet those goals faster than if I stayed where I am. At least that's what my grown-up self tells me.
- Now, "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" is playing on Pandora. Hm, fitting. La, la, la, la, Life goes on.
