Anticipation, Like Chasing the Wind, and Pizza Makers
1. A MUCH needed vacation with my two best friends begins this coming Friday. Many phone calls and emails with lots of planning have been flurrying back and forth. And numerous text messages filled with exclamation points!!! We are all very excited.
2. The best ideas seem to live elusively in the twilight between sleeping and waking. I manage to grab hold of one while it still has form, before it disappears into a vapor. I write it down in a drowsy haze before I forget it, and I congratulate myself on remembering to put a pen and paper beside my bed the night before.
3. My "little sis" and I make a pizza from almost scratch and watch it bake through the oven window. It ends up tasting pretty good, and she thinks we should open a restaurant.
